Abba Garima: an open source typeface project
After 11 months in the making, we are happy to release a new OpenSource (OFL) typeface: Abba Garima! The Garima typeface has been designed in the style of the oldest known Geʾez manuscript, the Abba Garima Gospel 2, which dates from the 4th century AD. This project has been sponsored by the Geʾez Frontier Foundation. The font provides all letters, numerals and punctuation used by the Geʾez language (264 symbols total).
